Don’t forget to complete a form to nominate the person you think should be St. Joseph’s 2009 Distinguished Graduate of the Year. Nomination forms will be included in the school family envelope and also available through the rectory and school office. If you know of someone who graduated from St. Joe’s at least 10 years ago and has made a difference in our community, our American society, the Catholic Church, or Catholic Education, please complete a nomination form, available by clicking on the link below, and mail it to the rectory or drop it in the Sunday collection, Attn: Michelle Ray. We will be voting for our 2009 Distinguished Graduate at a Development Board meeting in late March. Please get your nominations in ASAP to be considered.

In 2008, St. Joseph School honored two extraordinary families at our 6th annual Legacy Gala. We were pleased to honor these alumni parents who exemplify the spirit of St. Joseph through their continued involvement with our school and parish long after their children have graduated from St. Joseph School. The Distinguished Graduate Award, sponsored by the National Catholic Education Association, is given to an alum whose spirit of Catholic education has served the church and the community.
