ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION

The Athletic Association is responsible for sponsoring, supervising, funding, and coaching sporting events. Its Board meets every month. Dates are published in advance, and parents are invited to attend. The Association sponsors volleyball and basketball.

ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION MISSION

The St. Joseph Athletic Association is committed to developing an athletic program that promotes the Catholic faith through organized athletic activities. We will provide every student, regardless of his or her abilities, and opportunity to participate and we will strive to instill in our athletes and their parents the ideals of teamwork, sportsmanship and Christian leadership through athletic competition.

CLINICS

Saint Joseph Athletics is currently taking registrations for the 2007-08 3rd and 4th grade basketball and volleyball clinics. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce your child to the Saint Joseph Athletic program.  Each program teaches athletes the basic concepts in a fun relaxed format.  Teamwork and sportsmanship are emphasized.  Clinics will be held in the school gym (time and dates to be determined by coach).  Each clinic will have approximately 8-one hour sessions.  No experience is needed, just the ability to have fun.   Participants will receive a t-shirt and a coupon to attend a SJS home game.
