ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION

The Athletic Association is responsible for sponsoring, supervising, funding, and coaching sporting events. Its Board meets every month. Dates are published in advance, and parents are invited to attend. The Association sponsors volleyball and basketball.

ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION MISSION

The St. Joseph Athletic Association is committed to developing an athletic program that promotes the Catholic faith through organized athletic activities. We will provide every student, regardless of his or her abilities, and opportunity to participate and we will strive to instill in our athletes and their parents the ideals of teamwork, sportsmanship and Christian leadership through athletic competition.

We are currently still taking registrations for the 2006-2007 Boys and Girls Basketball and Boys Volleyball seasons.  Please contact a board member or the school office for registration information.

CLINICS

Clinics are offered for all sports to 3rd and 4th grade students.  Dates and times for the 2006-2007 clinics are TBD based on availability of coaches.
The Athletic Association is making plans to offer Summer clinics in 2007 for all returning athletes in the 5th-8th grades.

TOURNAMENTS

The Athletic Association sponsors tournament for all of our teams.   The current tournament schedule is as follows.

SPECIAL EVENTS

This year St. Joseph will be hosting the SWCC vs. JACC (Joliet Area Catholic Conference) 8th grade girls All-Star game on November 2nd at 7:00PM.  Mark your calendar and plan on attending this exciting event.

FUNDRAISING

Dance-a-thon
