Volunteer Sign Up

In the past, we have noticed that all prefest and Friday evening volunteer assignments were filled completely, leaving many shifts open on Saturday and Sunday.  In order for the fest to run smoothly, we need to make sure that there are sufficient volunteers to fill all of the days equally.  Therefore, we are starting the process by opening up Saturday and Sunday up first.  Once we feel comfortable with the coverage of shifts on Saturday and Sunday, we will then open up Friday.  Special care is given to people who need specific times due to unavailability on certain days, due to work and/or family situations.  You may chose to wait for Friday to become available online, but there are no guarantees as to the assignments/shifts that will be left at that time.

*** ATTENTION SCHOOL AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PARENTS ***

Each parent or adult wishing to fulfill volunteer hours for the Oktoberfest must sign up through this site. We have made the process even better by allowing you to select a specific date, time and area of the fest you are interested in. The sign up process is completed in 4 easy steps:

  1. Enter your e-mail address. This uniquely identifies you. You will use your email address to return to this site and get confirmation of your assigned area.
  2. Enter your name and contact information. This allows us to customize the available areas to select from. Some of our areas require heavy lifting or special requirements that you should be aware of.
  3. Choose a preferred date and area of the fest you are interested in.
  4. Choose a preferred time and view any special requirements. Depending on the assignment, you may get more information to choose from. You can also provide a special comment that our volunteer coordinators should know.

*** Moms and Dads volunteering together ***
 Each person must sign up separately. To volunteer to work together, choose an area and time where more than one volunteer is needed.

*** Mom or Dad volunteering to fulfill all required hours ***
 Simply sign up two times with your preference. We recommend adding special comments at the end of the sign up form to let our coordinators know you are fulfilling all hours with one person.

*** Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sign up early to increase the chance we can accommodate your preference.
 Ultimately, our volunteer coordinators do their best to accommodate as many as possible, but we can never guarantee your preferences. Remember, this is for our children. Regardless of where you are assigned, we are excited to have your involvement and we always have an incredibly fun and rewarding experience!

    Some moms and dads do not have separate email addresses, and share the same address. If you and your spouse will use the same email address, please indicate if you are signing up as the mom or dad. This will allow you both to sign up but uniquely identify yourself as a volunteer.
