It's No Secret We're the Best!

We'll always think of St. Joseph School as the “Best Kept Secret in Lockport!”, but we know you squealed. And now we want to reward you for it.

For every new student you refer that enrolls in the 2009-2010 school year, we’ll credit your tuition $100. If that student is a 6th or 7th grade student, we’ll double your reward to $200!

Academically the Best:

In the past ten years, we’re the only Lockport School (public or private) to qualify to apply for the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
78% of the SJS Class of 2009 has made the honor roll three consecutive quarters.
99% graduate high school, 96% continue on to college.
SJS Alumni have been accepted to the Illinois Math & Science Academy, Joliet Catholic Academy, Lockport High School, Morgan Park Academy, Mount Assisi, Plainfield High School, Providence, and Romeoville High.
Approximately, 50 % of the SJS Class of 2008 and 2009 placed in honors programs at the high school level.
One of our alum has recently been ranked #1 in the freshman class at LTHS with an enrollment of over a 1000 students in her grade level.
In the past 15 years, we have had alumni that have been named Valedictorians and Salutetorians at Joliet Catholic, LTHS, Morgan Park Academy, and Providence High School.
For the past seven years, 10-18 Science Fair Projects have advanced to Regional Science Fair levels. From there, SJS has averaged sending 7 students to the state science fair at U of I. Our students return with from State with Gold & Silver medals, monetary awards, and in 2005, two of our students received laptop computers as prizes!

Spiritually the Best:

Each year, our students offer up thousands of hours in community service including Honor Society activities and aid to seniors.

Rewards Rules

Each name (household) must accompany a mailing address and either a valid phone number or e-mail address. Each friend or neighbor’s household must have at least one school age child (Pre-K – 8th Grade for fall 2009 enrollment) enrolling at. St Joseph School in Lockport and not currently attending or registered to attend St. Joseph School as of May 1, 2009. All new family referrals are subject to verification.

For each new student referred who attends the 2009-2010 school year, you will receive $100 credit toward your tuition. If that new student starts the school year in the 6th or 7th grade, you will receive an additional $100 in tuition credit. Rules are subject to change.
