The Empower Illinois Scholarship Granting Organization website (www.empowerillinois.org) will be accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year beginning Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.
The reservation form will be available at 6:30 p.m. to give families time to enter their information before submission at 7 p.m. The reservation will have two pages.
On page one, you will enter basic information, such as parent name, student name, and contact information. On page two, you will review this information and click submit.
Only after clicking submit on page two will you receive your first-come, first-served timestamp. This scholarship is a need-based scholarship, and you do NEED to sign up the day it opens! Please review the details on the website: https://empowerillinois.org/apply/

“Invest in Kids” Scholarships-Empower Illinois
The Invest in Kids Scholarships will cover 100% of tuition expenses. These scholarships will be awarded through Scholarship Granting Organizations and will be awarded based on need and scholarship deadlines. Apply at empowerillinois.org or call for assistance and information at 815-838-8173.
SJS Advancement Scholarships: Franciscan, Legacy, & Families in Need
All Kindergarten-8th Grade Children are eligible for $500-$1000 scholarships! The application opens in May of 2020. Please contact us with more details.
SJS Alumni Legacy Student Scholarships
If you are an alumni of St. Joseph School, your child is eligible for a $500- $1000 scholarship to be applied to grades Kindergarten - 8th grade. Apply in March of 2020
Diocese of Joliet-Tuition Transfer Scholarships
1st-7th Grade students transferring from public schools to St. Joseph are eligible for $1000-$2500 in scholarship funds over a two-year period.
