For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:21
Teaching at St. Joseph School started as a job. It didn't take long for me to realize the special place I was led to was where my family was meant to be. 17 years later, I continue to teach at St. Joseph School because it feels like home. It is a place where children receive an unbeatable, well-rounded Catholic education, while surrounded by people who genuinely care for them. Teaching not only Music, but the love of music and singing, to the children of St. Joseph is so fulfilling. I treasure each year, more and more. St. Joseph School is a blessing and a place I am proud to be a part of.

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
I teach at St. Joseph School because it is where God has called me to be. It is place of family, support, and great love for the students. Within my years here I have seen families come and families go. I have had the great opportunity to see students grow up to be young adults. It makes me proud to know they started at St. Joseph School getting the foundation for love of God, love for community, and compassion. I can't picture myself at any other school. When I come to school I don't see it as a teaching job, I see it as my vocation. My vocation to share God's love and mercy to the students, parents, teachers, and staff at SJS.
